Court Officers Search Raghavendra Thirtha’s Premises

Ernakulam, Mar 23: In accordance with the Ernakulam district court order, the court commissioner along with the court processor and the representative panel of Srimad Sudhindra Thirtha Swami, Matadhipathi of Sri Kashi Math Samsthan, entered the premises of Raghavendra Thirtha at Elamakkara with police protection on Tuesday March 22.
Raghavendra Thirtha was unavailable for the delivery proceedings and his representative Nandakumar Prabhu informed the court commissioner and Amin that Raghavendra is camping somewhere while his followers claimed that he is on a ‘yatra’ and they do not know his whereabouts. After a thorough search of the premises and breaking open some of the cupboards none of the articles listed, which includes 234 pieces of jewellery, 27 idols, and nearly 50 silver items, as well as more than 100 ‘Saligramas’, were not found.
