Udupi: Noted Congress leader from Karkala Daniel Ranger joins AAP

Karkala, Jul 7: Known Congress leader from Karkala, Daniel Ranger, has joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) here on Thursday, July 7. He has been appointed the AAP president for Karkala taluk.

Daniel is a noted businessman.He was a member of Miyar Gram Panchayat thrice as the Congress supported candidate and he indulges in various social activities.

He was recognized in Congress in Muniyalu Udaykumar Shetty wing and he put efforts in getting a ticket to Muniyalu Udaykumar Shetty to contest from Karkala Assembly Constituency. However, the district party leaders did not value the local leaders' and party workers' words. Hence, the Karkala party leaders and workers were very upset over the high command and senior leaders not respecting their wishes. As a result, Daniel joined AAP, sources said.

After the era of Veerappa Moily, a former chief minister and senior Congress leader, no other party leader has been able to win in the Karkala Constituency. BJP has swept the seats here all the time and now Minister Sunil Kumar is ruling the Karkala.

On the other hand, Congress is losing its significance day by day. Many Congress workers and leaders have switched to different parties. If the district Congress and the high command do not wake up now, Congress will have to lose its existence in the Karkala constituency.

    For any nation needs to prosper & citizens need peace, happiness then implement strict Military rule like China or for that matter any country without Democracy & without Political parties. Wherever Democracy is practised, those countries are battling for survival be it USA, EUROPE & UK. Democracy is nothing but "Destruction & Corruption".

    Its sad though. Congress is just an 'online' party, with party and cadres working from homes or travel or holidays. This is not going to work. What is required is 'ground work' where you right in front of peoples eyes.

    Dear Mr. Manohar, Mangalore. How you can know every congress man from Karkala. Mr Deniel is known congress man in his limit of karla, his brother Mr. Sunil Ranger is discharging as religious preacher. We know him very well being in karkala.

    All honest and straight forward ,Non corrupt peoples are joining AAP. I think most of the peoples are corrupt in Karnataka, that's why many are scared to join.

    Congress can rejuvenate only with the change in leader ship (Ex Sonia/Rahul) who are the main reason for the downfall of Congress. What leadership they can boast of ? Only Gandhi name/identity ! They are not fit tobe even any Union leaders. " A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way ... "

    After our humble ex MLA Gopala Bhandary, Congress has lost significance in Karkala. So it's good move by Daniel Ranger. Hope AAP does well in Karkala to route out current MLA and current MP who are useless. I even wished Pramod Madhwaraj will join AAP but instead he joined hands with criminals like his mother. Hope Jayaprakash Hegde too joins AAP to have strong presence in Udupi for AAP. AAP is the only solution to teach Congress and BJP a lesson.
