Mangalore: Raymond’s Classic 2011 Body Building Competition on Apr 10

Mangalore, Mar 23: South Canara Amateur Body Builders Association has announced holding of Raymond’s Classic 2011 Body-building Competition at Ravindra Kala Bhavan, University College in the city on April 10. The competition is being organized on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the association and Raymond’s Gym, a release from the association said.
The timing of the competition will be 4 pm to 8 pm. The awards will comprise of both certificates and medals. The entries must be sent to reach the organizers before April 1. The competition will be held in four categories based on the heights of the competitors. The heights of contestants will be verified at 4 pm. Those desirous of competing need to emit entry fee of Rs 30 along with their photographs, the release said.
Those who have already won state, national, and Shree Dakshina Kannada competitions, will not be allowed to compete in this competition.
For the competitors who have already won the title, ‘Shree Dakshina Kannada’, a separate competition, ‘Champion of Champions’ is also being organized. Those who have won medals at the national level will not be eligible to compete, said secretary of the association, B Mahesh Kumar Kodical, in a release.
