Udupi, Jul 9: The Girija Group of Concerns' 'PhysioCare', physiotherapy and rehabilitation centre was inaugurated at Vadiraja Complex, near Mithra hospital Udupi here on Saturday, July 9. 
 
Vinayak Shenoy inaugurated the PhysioCare centre by the cutting ribbon, Purushottam Shetty of Ujwal Developers lit the lamp.
 
Addressing the gathering, he said, "I would like to congratulate Girija Group on its growth. There is a lot of collective effort behind its success." He wished the best for the further success of Girija Group.
 








































































 
Dr P V Bhandary, renowned psychiatrist said, "Girija Group of Concerns is developing phase by phase. It started as a small medical distributer and now it has three more outlets. Ravindra is serving the society without forgetting social responsibility. Nowadays, Physiotherapy is needed for senior citizens. They can reach rural people by physiotherapy mobile unit."
 
Dr Deepa Nayak, senior consultant and physiotherapist, delivered the keynote address. Sharing her vision, she said, "It was my dream to serve the needy people. Physiotherapy has now developed in a broader sense. We also have a rural project area where the needs of the rural needy are met by organising camps and treating them on time. Home therapy is also available for which we have dedicated six experienced staffs."
 
Girija Healthcare & Surgicals is a top company in coastal Karnataka in terms of sales of health care and surgical equipment sales. It has got branches in Mangaluru, Udupi and Kundapur and is lauded by the consumers for its excellent service.
 
PhysioCare is a new sister concern unit  of Girija Group of Concerns. It is included with expert therapists and all kind of physiotherapy treatment are available here. 
 
PhysioCare offers ultrasound electric pain healing treatment, cryotheraphy, physiotherapy, balance board, stepper and theraband exercises.
 
On the occasion, two beds were donated to Rotary Brahmavar and A V Baliga Charitable Trust for the dialysis centre by the Girija group.
 
Gurme Suresh Shetty, noted businessman, Jayakar Shetty Indrali, district president, Udupi Cooperative Federation, N T Anchan, Udupi district Ayush, Prof Dr Bhamini Krishna Rao, Madhusudan Herur, owner, Suvarna Enterprises, Manasa Pai, councillor, Girija, mother of Ravindra Shetty and others were present.
