Bommai to visit rain affected districts including coastal regions on Tuesday

Bengaluru, Jul 11: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai would visit rain affected districts of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada and Kodagu on Tuesday to inspect the situation and instruct the officials to take appropriate relief measures.

Speaking to media persons near his residence on Monday, July 11, he said Malnad region, Kodagu, Uttara Kannada and coastal regions are being lashed by heavy rains for the past 10 days.

“Already I have interacted with the concerned deputy commissioners concerned through video conference for taking up rescue and relief works. As the rains have abated I will visit the affected areas starting tomorrow to take stock of the situation and issue necessary instructions to take up relief works,’’ he said.

    These ministers, are after the rain visiting the affected areas, but no ministers or representatives visit before the places to take steps to control the damages. If the funds sanctioned before the rain to handle the situation, many many peoples would have been benefited.

    Visit by road from Bangalore, you will know the real struggle of commuters. NH is completely gone within one year. Provide relief directly to beneficiary bank account. Don't give it to MP or MLA, everyone lost hopes.

    What is the use in coming and going? Waste of govt machinery. All r corrupt. No proper infrastructure. All govt officials using substandard materials. No body following proper procedures. Only standard's of corruption is being to the highest level. God help the common man. The govt is excellent in changing names. Let they change the name of the party place and even their names to useless People
