Puttur: Man who stole generator batteries arrested, stolen items recovered

Puttur, Jul 11: Town police station personnel arrested a person on charges of stealing generator batteries.

Complaints of the theft of generator batteries from Hitha Hospital, Darbe, Puttur on June 14, 2022 and Sai Lodge, near Puttur KSRTC bus stand on July 8, 2022 were registered in Puttur town police station.

The team of Puttur police station under the leadership of its PSI nabbed and arrested accused Itti Panicker, a resident of Kollam, Kerala and recovered the items stolen by him. He has been remanded to judicial custody.

The operation was conducted on guidance from Puttur police station inspector Sunil Kumar in the leadership of PSI Rajesh K V by staff Scaria Jagadeesh, Subrahmanya and Kiran Kumar under directions from Puttur assistant SP.
