Kundapur: Three arrested for breaking Mescom electric poles, stealing wires, pumpsets

Kundapur, Jul 12: The Amasebailu police arrested three accused for allegedly breaking four electricity poles of Mescom and stealing the aluminium wires, in addition to taking away the pump sets that were stored in a nearby shed.

Ashoka Naika (22), Moorthi Naika (38) and Mohiddin K S (48), are the accused who were produced in the court. Two bikes and the stolen items have been confiscated from the accused. The total worth of stolen goods is Rs 90,000.

Kundapur DySP Srikant guided the operation that was led by CI Gopikrishna, SI Subbanna, ASI Umesha Naika and personnel.

    What these type people stealing wires always ,making troubles to normal people and Mescom telefon people.Previously no wires were there when want to make calls.Now tie them with same cable and put them in jail.Never let out.what type of job is it?Stealing cables ,pumps?Shame on you.Third class people.

    This is part of atmanirbhar skills ..... 2 crore jobs generation in a year and in last eight years total 16 crores jobs with zero unemployment rate. ..... and the results are evident every where....????? Hope they will confiscate their House properties to recover losses to Mescom.
