Mangaluru: Month-long ‘City Centre Carnival’ kicks off in style

Mangaluru, Jul 15: To mark the 12th anniversary of Mohtisham Complex Private Limited's (MCPL) City Centre mall, a month-long carnival was inaugurated on Thursday July 14 at the City Centre mall here.

Tulu movie actors Roopesh Shetty, Vineeth, and Rachana Shetty inaugurated the month-long carnival by cutting a cake.

Founder chairman Abdul Bari Mohtisham also spoke on the occasion.

The inauguration of the carnival began with mesmerizing cultural extravaganza.

Addressing the gathering, actor-director Roopesh Shetty said, "People of Mangaluru are emotionally connected with the City Centre mall. This mall increased the beauty of the city. Moreover, after the mall came up in the city, it has created employment opportunities for several people. This mall has become a platform for the promotion of several movies too.”

Actor Vineeth said, "City Centre is the feather of development on the city’s hat. People irrespective of caste, religion, and creed, come to this place."

Actor Rachana Rai also spoke on the occasion.

Mohtisham Complex Private Limited managing director S M Arshad, and director of MCPL S M Sawood were present.

Sahil Zaheer was the host for the entire event.
