Mangalore: Graduation Day of Masood College of Nursing Held

 Mangalore, Mar 27: The annual day, graduation day, diploma awarding and lamp lighting ceremony of Masood College of Nursing and Masood School of Nursing was held at T V Ramana Pai hall here on Saturday March 26.

.

Al. Haj. K S Mohammed Masood, former MLC and former chairman of Karnataka State Minorities Commission presided over the function. He addressed the gathering and congratulated the students for their excellence. He also gave away the certificates to the graduate students. Sr Loredana Korah, Nursing Director, St Anns College of Nursing Mulki, was the guest of honour.

Veena Gretta Tauro, Principal, read out the annual report of the institution. Dr Mohammed Arif Masood, secretary of MECT welcomed the gathering and Mohammed Asif Masood, trustee of MECT, gave the vote of thanks. Dr Richard James D’Souza, president-MECT and Abid Jalihal, treasurer of MECT were present
on the dais.

Lydia Cutinha and  Dalini D’Souza compered the programme. After the stage programme variety of  cultural programmes were held.

    Masood College is a good college in Mangalore. It is giving good quality education to the student. I am studying in the PC.B. Sc section. Principal is the back bone of the college. She is with us through out the year and supporting us in our studies and co-curricular activities. our teaching staffs are guiding us to achieve good results. There is good relationships between the students-Principal and the Managements. So we had seen good results from the past academic years. The college is having sufficient labs, library, canteen etc. I am happy to study in this college with the supportive management, Principal, and the teaching staffs.
    Mr. Harold D'cunha, please simply do not comment without seeing the college. "The one who is out to buy the milk need not to be bothered about the cost of the cow".

    Mr. D'cunha it may be your thought to ponder but these days to open any educational institution it takes lot of investment for all the infrastructure and it is impossible become a grown up person by not passing through childhood other than run by religious institution with people's donation. One has to be wise enough to Annalise the growth of the institution by getting proper feedback from the students and changes brought about by the head of the institution that is the principal for the growth and popularity of the institution in not only academic matters but also extra curricular activities without so called infrastructure you mentioned, before commenting undoing whatever good they might have done

    Harold, Have you seen the college,hostel facilities etc.Please do not comment without proper feedback, The management are running this institution from 7 yrs and are happy to get feedbacks with proper info and not just throwing a stone in the dark,We have very good results also and the nurses who have paased out are working for good hospitals around the world. A visit to our college will show what facilities we have since you are commenting on no proper library etc. I am very happy to study here and where were your comments for the earlier graduation ceremonies.

    Why these Colleges having Convocation function not in their own campus?
    It is indeed sad to note that many colleges which has no play ground, some not even having proper campus, only running on rented building under College licence no proper library which is very essence and basic requirements.
    What type of outlook these students will carry in their career life is a big question mark.
    I do know, no body will take care of this comments as political, some business people are running this type of education business at the cost of students. This shows the quality level of our education Ministers.
    Wishing all the best to the students in their career.
