Heartiest congratulations because (a) she is a female in this male dominated society and from tribal society, (b) she was teacher by profession, many salutes to her for that & (c) There is hope after all for non-Brahmins in this country to rise to this position after 7 decades of independence. Now shall we talk about the percentage of Brahmins in India's population and why they cannot get minority status that is enjoyed by a population who represents 30% of India's population? Why Brahmins should take the blame for all the ills and not get credit for all the hard work? By the way, BJP was a party dominated by Brahmins or? Our narrative, whether in textbooks, or in newspaper or in Social media rule the roost. Nobody cares about its factual correctness.
