Mangaluru: Temple priest killed in bike-truck collision at Surathkal

Mangaluru, Jul 22: A temple priest was killed in an accident that occurred at Surathkal between a truck and a bike on Thursday July 21,

Akshay K R (33), resident of Mattu near Katapadi and priest of temple is the unfortunate victim of this accident. He was performing pooja and other religious rituals at Sri Mahalingeshwara temple of Katapadi Moodabettu.

Akshay was returning to Katapadi after offering Pooja at a function in Surathkal. He is survived by mother.
