Udupi: Police arrest three drug peddlers, confiscate ganja, car, mobile phones

Udupi, Jul 23: Udupi police station personnel arrested three drug peddlers and confiscated ganja, a car and three mobile phones from them.

The arrested are identified as Vijayakumar S (23), Nikshep S V (24) and Nithesh Kumar (24). All are residents of Chikkamagaluru.

Udupi CEN police station inspector Manjunath, on receiving definite information, intercepted a car bearing registration KA20 MD 3719 at Jogibettu, Perduru, approaching from Hebri, and arrested the trio carrying the contraband.

The total value of the goods seized by the police is Rs 15,30,000.
