Panaji, Jul 25: In some tragic news for the Tiatr fraternity and tiatr lovers in Goa, Matheus Correia from Velim, better known as Comedian Selvy died at the Goa Medical College and Hospital on Monday July 25.
Comedian Selvy was a well-known and much-loved contemporary comedian. He was admitted to GMC last Monday after he felt uneasy while performing in his tiatr ‘8 Dis’ at Pai Tiatrist Hall, Margao.
The doctors informed him that his diabetes and haemoglobin level had dropped considerably and he was then immediately referred to GMC.
