Kasargod: Painting worker turns millionaire overnight, wins Rs 1 crore lottery

Daijiworld Media Network – Kasargod (SB)

Kasargod, Jul 26: Lady luck smiled on Mohammad Bava, a resident of Pavoor, Manjeshwar in the form of a bumper prize of Rs 1 crore, the highest lottery amount won in a lottery in Kerala.

Mohammad, who lives along with his five children in a family, works as painter in Manjeshwar region.

Mohammad had to sell his house for Rs 50 lac due to heavy unpaid debts which he borrowed for construction work of the house, marriage of his two daughters and for the visa and tickets for his son who travelled to Qatar months ago in search of a job. He had already received token advance from a buyer for his property which he constructed with his hard earning money.

"Except two friends of mine, no one stood with me in my difficult times. Hence, I was compelled to sell my house and shift to a rented place. But now, due to God’s grace, I won the lottery which has made me revert my decision,” says Mohammad.

He had bought ticket from Amma Lottery Agency, Hosangady.

Jeevan, I agree to your logic but first of all declare what is your net asset vale in Crores. ? Also, clarify how you built up capital (crores) being an entrepreneur or some commission bases or ancestors property ? I am abroad for so many years with comfortable salary but thinking in few crores is beyond my imagination.

Can you call a person whose assets are one crore, a millionaire? Today just an apartment costs a crore Rupees. Even in terms of old one million dollars, it would take $ 1,000,000 that is 8,00,00,000 (8 crore) Rupees to make a millionaire.

Congratulations!! God answered your prayers. A painter can construct a house worth 50 Lakhs that itself is an achievement.. If someone studied at least up to graduation and worked in office as admin or accountant you cannot even dream for such house.

Karan, you are right. According to a survey, 66 percent of white colour employees in India are getting a salary of less than 15000 in India. This man may be taking painting contracts, otherwise, as a painter, one cannot build a house of 50 lakhs.

Dear Msaff, I just said, he may be taking painting contract, otherwise it is not possible to have such a house. You said if I want more, earn more. Friend, I have worked very hard, my whole life and God has given me more than I need. I worked for 20 years in a British pharmaceutical company in Mumbai and later 20 years in world's largest oil company, Saudi Aramco for 20 years. Hence, what jealousy I can have. ?

One in a Million. Thank God for everything and never fall victim to scrupulous people who may misguide you to star business or enter into stock market and the worse is gambling (Jugaari) & Alcohol . Rest your own wish but be alert. chances will not come very often.

Congratulations. According to modern survey in the world, a person who has a wealth of $1.9 million is considered as wealthy. That means, a person who is having less than 15 crore rupees in India, he cannot be considered as wealthy. More tha 50 percent of Americans are having a wealth less than half of that figure, the survey revealed.
