Mangaluru, Jul 26: "Those organizations who invade the privacy of youth should be banned. Such incidents are bringing a bad name to the district. Who has given them the authority to stop the parties or get-togethers? Are they police or their parents?” said Dakshina Kannada Youth JD(S) president Akshith Suvarna.

Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday July 26, he said, “Such anti-social elements should be banned. Why are such incidents repeating when elections are approaching? There are students who come from various states and districts to Dakshina Kannada for education. Even the businessmen are hindering to invest in the district because of such incidents. The state government led by the BJP should answer these questions. The police department should take stringent action against the accused. The police department should register a suo motu case against those who disrupted the party at the pub.

“What is wrong if students go for dinner? They have their parents to question them. Who has given the authority to these people?” he questioned.

He also said that irrespective of political parties, a major protest will be held in the coming days.

Rathish Karkera, Faizal Rehaman, Hithesh Rai and others were present.

Mangalore is thriving mainly because of NRI money and business given by the scores of students/professionals who come here because of proliferation of educational institutions! This is a very bad development for the business owners in Manganauru/DK, overall, but especially to those involved in the hotel and leisure sectors!

Girls and boys have brains, they can and have the ability to decide what is good and what Is bad. If they knowingly or unknowingly going in a wrong way, they have their parents to advice them. More over its the responsibility of the pub management to identify the under age kids and not to allow them inside the pubs.. if they don't agree with the management policy then it's the responsibility of the management to call in the cops to deal. But any kind of organisation just can't come and close anyevents or parties.

Come on people arise ! Awake !!! Before its too late, show your solidarity in attaining success to improve our standard of dakshina kannada. People of other states already started speaking ill about us. Why such gatherings happen only in dk ? Karnataka? In india only Karnataka is shown in the map ? What about other states ? People/students do not party ? Why its happening here only ? Too much freedom for some groups isnt it ?
