Udupi: CCTV captures man flicking Rs 35, 000 from shop posing as customer

Udupi, Jul 26: A man looking like a foreigner went to a poultry shop in Kemmannu cross of Santhekatte here posing as a customer and stole Rs 35, 000 from the cash box while the shop keeper was packing the orders items.

The incident occurred in Lewis Chicken Centre situated in Ekta Heights building. The incident has been captured in the CCTV.

The accused had ordered for eggs and when the shopkeeper Voji J Lewis was packing them, the thief flicked the cash from the drawer.

Udupi police have registered a case and are on the look out for the stranger.
