Kaup: Five fishermen escape peril as boat crashes into rock

Kaup, Jul 28: A fishing boat which had technical fault, crashed into a rock around Kaup Par, 15 nautical miles from Kaup Lighthouse on Wednesday July 27.

Due to the impact of the crash, Ranjesh, Lawrence, Madhava, Dharmaraj and one more person on boat were thrown into the sea. They swam and took shelter on the rock near Par.

The fishermen of the affected boat were brought to Malpe port by another fishing boat. The boat was badly damaged in the crash.
