Mangaluru: Schools, colleges in Panambur, Bajpe, Mulki, Surathkal given holiday following murder

Mangaluru, Jul 29: Following the gruesome murder of a youth in Surathkal, as a precautionary measure, schools and colleges falling under Panambur, Bajpe, Mulki and Surathkal police station limits have been given a holiday on Friday July 29.

Police commissioner N Shashi Kumar had urged deputy commissioner (DC) Dr K V Rajendra to declare holiday to the schools and colleges in the areas after which the DC issued an order late in the night.

It may be recalled, four miscreants chased 24-year-old Fazil outside a textile shop in Surathkal and brutally hacked him to death on Thursday, July 28 evening.

The police commissioner has already imposed prohibitory orders in and around Panambur, Bajpe, Mulki and Surathkal till July 30 midnight.

    What a situation in mangalore ?Now schools and colleges are closed .What about situation of these students?Who asks them?who does make thoughts about their future?Already schools and colleges were opened late or got late summer holidays ,inbetween Corona ,few days were holidays because of heavy rains ,or weather problems,When they will start to study and very soon they will be having their exams .Anyone thought about them?When they should start to learn?

    Greatest brunt of any such eventualities are felt by noble drinking community... Local authorities waste no time to declare closure of outlets even without giving opportunity to stock up for a peaceful drink at home...

    Really, our district has reached to a such shameful state that it never experienced before.....I dont understand why people do not understand, whatever happens, it happens because of the poison sowed by the politicians among the communities....Few years before, things were not like this. Police personnel doing their best to safeguard the people. Even they are under the pressure. They cannot act according to their responsibility.....Because of hatred spread by big heads, poor youth are sacrificing their life....and their children are safe somewhere in European countries.....

    Prajwal ji, we see from one angle. Even they have to survive....Paapi pet ka sawal....unke jaan ka sawal he....They are under tremendous pressure....They are free to give justice only to the street robbers/latpot criminals and those who have no money and influence of big heads. Its like EVM....

    wow..what a great achievement by the bjpigs govt...when they were in power between 2008 to 2013 they made this city hell by attacking churches as well as home stays...now they are in power for three years they turned this city into UP of Karnataka....Jai ho...
