Kasargod: Police confiscate 1000 liters of spirit, arrest one

Kasargod, Jul 29: Police confiscated 1,000 litres of spirit that was being transported illegally in a car and arrested one person in this connection.

Ravikiran (31), a resident of Kunjathur Annamajalu, is the accused who is in police custody.

Acting on tip off, the police team led by DySP V V Manoj waylaid the Scorpio vehicle near Manjeshwar and found spirit illegally transported in plastic cans.

Further investigation is done by Manjeshwar police.
