Udupi, Jul 31: The white coloured Hyundai Eon car used by the mudrerers of Mohammed Fazil (23) in Surthakal a couple of days ago has been found in Inna of Karkala on Sunday, July 31.
The locals who found the car abandoned in a deserted location in Padubidri on Sunday morning informed the police
The police who visited the spot identified the car as the one used for Fazil's murder.
The rear seat of the car had blood stains, a micro sim, a water bottle and cash. The car had The assailants, after the murder, had fled till Padubidri and then abandoned the car there, it is said.
As per the RC details the car is owned by Glancy Dimple D'Souza registered under Mangalore RTO in January 2019 though the owner as per priliminary reports is Ajit Crasta. The car has been covered to protect the evidence. Police is awaiting FSL team from Mangaluru for further probe.
