Kasargod, Aug 1: Kumble police arrested youth who grew ganja plants on the terrace of his house.

The accused arrested is identified as Nazeeb Mehfooz (22), a resident of Bekur Kannadipare. Police raided the house on a definite tip-off.

Nazeeb, who lived in a rented facility at Kidoor had grown ganja plants on the terrace. The plants were grown in 20-litre drinking water cans after cutting the upper part of the bottle and filling the same with mud. Three plants were identified by the police.

During interrogation, it came to light that the accused had grown the plants for his personal use as well as to sell in market. Police informed that the accused might have got the seeds from Mangaluru as he was studying in a college in the city.

Time to play the 'victim card' and blame Govt. Do everything illegal under the sun, when caught and taken from the rear just accuse, 'minorities are in danger'.

The term 'minority' has become a joke now. 25 crores and still counting. Even in Kashmir, they are called 'minorities' . I guess 'Uniform Civil Code' is the only answer.
