Mangaluru: Mayola Monteiro, Sneha Menezes of St Agnes College become ACCA affiliates

Mangaluru, Aug 1: Mayola Delita Monteiro and Sneha Caleeta Menezes have cleared their (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK) ACCA papers for which the exams were held in June 2022. They were the students of St Agnes College, where they pursued BCom integrated with ACCA.

ACCA is a globally recognized accounting qualification that provides a strong foundation to students and professionals for careers in Accounting, Tax Consulting, and Auditing. According to a report by ACCA Global, about 101,866 students around the world appeared for approximately 122,756 ACCA exams. Subsequently, 3,877 students completed their final exams to become ACCA affiliates, whose results were recently announced.

St Agnes College is the first college in Mangaluru to begin BCom with ACCA integrated batch in the year 2016 and is successfully running it in the Seventh year. Since then, the College has had six ACCA affiliates with Mayola and Sneha being the new additions to the list.

Mayola Monterio and Sneha Menezes hold an ACCA Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business and an affiliate membership from ACCA, UK. With these qualifications and an active campus placement programme at St Agnes College, Mayola currently works as a Senior Audit Associate in KPMG. In pursuance of their aspirations, they have set an example for future aspirants by making complete use of intellect and qualifications.

The ACCA affiliates said the management and faculty of St Agnes College have been extremely accommodating and prepared them for challenges. They believe in never giving up and working hard constantly to achieve success.
