Mangaluru: Girl sexually assaulted on NITK Surathkal beach after chasing friend away

Mangaluru, Aug 1: A man was arrested for sexually assaulting a girl who had been to NITK Suratkal beach with a friend.

Both the girl and boy, studying in a college in city were at the beach on July 27 afternoon when the accused Munaz Ahmed (30) started bothering them.

Munaz blackmailed them that he has a video of the girl and boy together on the beach. He threatened the boy to leave the place and then sexually assaulted the girl.

A complaint was lodged with the women's police station and the accused Munaz arrested under Section 376 of IPC.

    cant believe.Again started this problems of assaulting girls ?Boy shouldnt have leave the place leaving girl alone.Punish the boy who assaulted the girl.Who knows how many times he has done this and girls have not complained out of shame .Why police are not strict against these boys?Why no punishmentAccording to sharia law what punishment can be used to this fellow?
