Who has given so much power to the municipality? Is it the constitution or the honourable Supreme Court?? I am totally shocked to read this, sounds like a joke.

DEAR ALL. COW SLAUGHTERING IS BANNED IN KARNATAKA AND EVERYONE HAS TO MAKE SURE THAT, THIS PRACTICE HAS TO BE STOPPED. AND WATERVER OUR CHICKMAGALORE MUNICIPALITY HAS DONE IS OK. BUT THEY CANNOT TAKE THE LAW AND ORDER IN THEIR HAND, THAT MEANS THE COURT HAS TO PUNISH THEM AS PER THE LAW. BUT CONVERTING THE HOUSE TO SOMETHING ELSE MAY BE RIGHT OR WRONG. THIS HAS TO BE INVESTIGATED BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THEY HAVE TO BROUGHT TO THE NOTICE OF THE COURT AND FURTHER PROCEEDINGS CAN BE DONE . WE HOPE THIS MIGHT BE A SOLUTION FOR THAT. WE WERE THOUGHT THAT, BEAF SELLING IS BEING STOPPED NOW. BUT VERY SURPRISED TO KNOW AGAIN. HOWEVER NO ONE HAS TO SUPPORT THE COW SLAUGHTERING. REGARDS TO EVERYONE

Illegal cow slaughter, if it is illegal, then close it. If is doing under licence, then what's the problems. Take action against who have given licence.

Yeh cow brigade to satiya gaya hai.... It is a significant section of population who eat cow meat.... Cow may be holy for majority... I am not a beef eater from childhood... But I have no right to oppose or stop someone who eats this world's top consumed food... These type of short sighted measures will only create more gaps amongst people...

Its relates to illegal slaughtering of cow for Beef. No one has opposed eating Beef. Just do it in a right way. Why poor mans livelihood has to be stolen from house for slaughtering?
