Udupi: Senior Citizen Jumps into Water Tank

Udupi, Apr 11: A woman named Indira (74), younger sister of the late Madhava Prabhu from Kunjibettu here, jumped into a water storage tank on Sunday April 10, and lost her life.

It is gathered that Indira had become very depressed, after her grandson died in USA about a year back. Depressed by this incident, she had lost control over her mind.

In a complaint filed with the policemen here, Ganapati M Prabhu said that Indira jumped into a water storage tank and lost her life on Sunday. A case was registered in the town police station here in this connection.
