Kasargod, Aug 30: Ther Melbaramba station police here have arrested three men on charges of driving a foreign brand luxury sports car rashly on Chattanchal Higher Secondary School playground and creating panic in the campus on Monday afternoon, August 30.

The car with a number plate of Sharjah illegally barged on the ground honking aloud disrupting the classes in school. The accused were overspeeding the car with an intention of terrifying the school students.

School principal Tomy M J lodged a complaint with the Melbaramba police station that confiscated the car and registered a case against the three people in it. Police officials have directed the regional transport department to verify the permission of the car to drive on Indian roads and other details and submit a report.

Melbaramba circle inspector T Uttam Das said that strict vigil will be kept on the vehicles being driven to attract children within Melbaramba police station limits and those will be confiscated.
