Daijiworld Media Network – Belthangady (EP)

Beltangady, Aug 31: Goods worth several lacs of rupees belonging to Anar Tyres and Raksha Agro were gutted in a fire mishap at a commercial complex in front of the Ujire Anugraha school Wednesday, August 31.

A short circuit at the commercial complex belonging to Shashidhar Gowda Bediguthu in front of the Ujire Anugraha English Medium School apparently caused the fire.

The fire brigade personnel from Beltangady rushed to douse the fire.

The shops were closed on Wednesday due to Ganesh Chaturthi.

A short circuit somewhere in the building is suspected to be the cause of the fire. A large number of people gathered in front of the complex.
