One the virus of rat fever enters the body, severe fever is seen within two to 25 days’ time. This will be accompanies by body pain, headache, vomiting, stomach ache etc. This is mostly found in farmers, fishermen, pig farmers, underground drainage workers and meat traders. If treatment is taken on time, this can be cured. If there are holes or injuries on the foot, this disease gets transferred easily.

Even though termed as Rat fever, it is called leptospirosis which is a rare bacterial infection we get from animals. It's spread through their urine, especially from dogs, rodents, and farm animals. They may not have any symptoms, but they can be carriers. In most cases, leptospirosis is unpleasant but not life-threatening, like a case of the flu.

Rat and mosquito menace is too much....which has gone out of hand to control......corporation people never come for spraying for mosquitoes. They go only to the houses of well versed people and posh areas.....They come to the areas if they get reports from the hospital on dengue/malaria/chikunhunya .....They multiply like anything....in a month twice most probably with so many babies. They are so cunning that even snakes cannot find them. Cats are very lazy to catch them since many of the houses have persian breed or cross breed. They get artificial foods and very lazy even to pass their faeces. Wild cats those who are on the streets are visiting house to house eating fish mande, intestines thrown out through which their hunger gets satisfied. These wild cats know exactly who cooks veg and who brings fish and on which day. They visit accordingly 🤣🤣🤣🤣
