Mangaluru Sep 6: The Yenepoya Specialty Hospital celebrates Onam in its premises in Kodialbail on Tuesday, September 6.

Hemato oncologist Dr Rajesh Krishna inaugurated the onam celebration.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Rajesh Krishna said, "We are closely connected with Kerala and many from Kerala are working here and hence Onam is of special significance for us . The take away from the onam celebration is being happy and joyous. As doctors and nurses, we need to look after the patients with utmost care, talk nicely to them so that they feel happy and their worries are reduced."

Meanwhile, prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions held on the eve of Onam.

The formal function was followed by a cultural event.

Ophthalmologist Dr Madhurima Nayak, medical superintendent Dr Savitha Shetty nad senior marketing consultant Bhaskar Urs was also present

Dr Anla Shetty welcomed the gathering, Dr Radhika proposed a vote of thanks and Aasma compered the event.
