Bantwal: Auto rickshaw overturns, hits mini bus - Three injured

Bantwal, Sep 10: Three people suffered injuries as the auto rickshaw in which they were travelling overturned and hit a mini bus at Budoli on Mangaluru-Bengaluru highway late night on Friday September 9.

The auto rickshaw was arriving from Uppinangady. It hit the mini bus that was going to Bengaluru from Mangaluru.

Two occupants in the auto rickshaw, residents of Manjeshwar suffered serious injuries while another received minor injuries.

The accident occurred at around 2 am on September 10. Locals, along with Social Iqua Mani ambulance members rushed the two seriously injured people to private hospital at Mangaluru.

Vittal police are investigating further.
