Udupi, Sep 14: A 32-year-old man was killed after a tree which he was cutting, fell on him on Tuesday September 14. It is said that the incident took as the deceased was cutting the tree without taking any safety measures.
The deceased is identified as Suresh Sandhimani, a resident of Beedinagudde in Udupi. Basically, he hailed from Bagalkote.

Reportedly, one Sunil had taken Suresh Sandhimani to work near Kalsanka to cut the tree. It is said the owner of the land had not given any safety measures to Suresh while cutting the tree.
Accidentally, while cutting the tree, it fell upon Suresh and he was injured on his stomach, waist, and legs. Later, he succumbed to his injuries at Ajjarakadu hospital. In the complaint, it is mentioned as Suresh was allowed to cut tree without any safety measures by land owner Prabhakar Salian and Sunil.
A police complaint was registered in Udupi town police station.
