Bengaluru, Sep 14: Karnataka on Wednesday, September 14, reported 486 new coronavirus cases.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 3,624. Bengaluru urban's single-day tally is 261.
One death was reported due to coronavirus in the state on Wednesday. The death toll in the state has risen to 40,226.
The state recorded 625 discharges from hospitals on Wednesday, taking the total discharges to 40,15,812.
So far, Karnataka has seen 40,59,704 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 0.54 %. As many as 11,92,74,026 people have received vaccination so far.
