Mangaluru: Coastalwood's Shruthi Kotyan is tollywood bound

Mangaluru, Mar 3: Coastal beauty Shruthi Kotyan, a known name in coastalwood cinema is now flying high after making her debut in the tollywood film industry.

Shruthi is all set to make her debut in Telugu with 'Prem Bhiksha' directed by Rajeev Krishna Gandhi. Actor Anil is playing the lead alongside Shruthi. Multilingual actor Suman is playing a pivotal role in the film. Rajeev who has directed 'Rangan Love Story' in Kannada, was impressed with Shruthi for her acting skills and offered her the lead role in 'Prem Bhiksha'. The movie is almost ready and all set for release.

The talented actress made her debut with Tulu film 'Soombe' in a supporting role and then went on to play the female lead in 'Rambarooti' which received positive response from the audience. Shruthi will also be seen in two Kannada films 'Rangan Style' and 'Dhandhe'.

Shruthi is the proud daughter of Srinivas and Prabha from Mangaladevi in the city. Apart from being an actress, she is also a talented choreographer. Shruthi is trained in classical dance, kathak and western dance which brought her into the limelight. She has performed in over 100 stage shows across Mangaluru.

She had featured in a music album 'Aa Dina Sunday' which became a hit on social media. Shruthi has also signed 'Anarkali' to be directed by Ismail Moodushedde, opposite 'Kudla Cafe' fame Manoj which would be rolling soon.
