Mangaluru: Daiva of Tulunadu, Kallurti to come on screen in Coastalwood

Mangaluru, Aug 3: Coastalwood audience has witnessed many films in genres like comedy, tragedy and culture. Soon, a film on the Daiva of Tulunadu Kallurti will be seen on the big screen.

The film on the life of Kallurti titled, 'Sathyadappe Shri Kallurti', will be produced by a young entrepreneur from Mangaluru Mahendra Kumar.

An experienced and well-known director from Bengaluru will direct the film.

The shooting will start soon as the story and screenplay is ready.

“New faces will be cast in the film for which auditions will be held. Songs will be recorded at the earliest. 'Sathyadappe Shri Kallurti' should be the best religious film in Tulu ever,” says Mahendra Kumar.

The story for the film has been written by Mahendra Kumar. The film will be shot at Karkala and a few other places. The makers plan to release the film in December.
