Mumbai: B K Sheena, founder of Uma Maheshwari temple passes away

Mumbai, Feb 19: B K Sheena Poojary aged 75, founder of Uma Maheshwari temple, proprietor of B K Metal Industries, Nisha Wire products and Anand Wire Netting company, religious leader and social worker on February 17 passed away after a brief illness at his residence at Satyam Apartment, Roopam circle, Sion east in the evening.

He hailed from Bangra Kuloor, Mangaluru. He established Uma Maheshwari temple at Jerimeri through his family trust in 1976. Though he lost his eyesight in an unpleasant incident in 1992, he continued to work sincerely and hard as before.

He has left behind his wife, Sheena Poojary, daughters Saritha Poojary, Nisha Poojary, Sonia Poojary, Nikita Poojary and a large number of friends and relatives.
