Ryan International School, Mangaluru celebrates Graduation Day

Mangaluru, Mar 12: Ryan Group of Institutions, one of the largest group of schools in India mentored by the educationist and founding chairman Dr A F Pinto and managing director Grace Pinto displayed its unique approach towards education during the recent Graduation Day celebration of the first batch of pre-primary students of Ryan International School (ICSE), here.

In sync with the ethos and vision of Ryan Group of Institutions, Ryan International School in the city (established in 2017 ) endeavours to develop a holistic personality of each child with knowledge, attitude, skills and social and moral values (KASSAM) which was amply reflected during the celebration.

The sound of music and dance interspersed with loud cheers and applause by the parents and children reverberated the packed auditorium of Ryan International School, Mangaluru as the Graduation Day was celebrated to mark the ceremonial graduation of Montessori students to Grade I.

Graduation Day, the most coveted event of the academic year for the children as well as the parents witnessed this year as a symphony of cultural extravaganza based on the theme 'Children Around the World', felicitation of outstanding achievers of the school and graduation ceremony with hundreds of parents, children and galaxy of distinguished guests in attendance.

The celebration unfolded with an invocation prayer and recital of verses from the Holy Bible. The rendering of melodious strains of praise and worship songs sung by the school choir complemented the dance by the tiny tots who were attired in vibrant colours and filled the atmosphere with joy and excitement.

The guests and parents were overwhelmed with the welcome by the five year to six year old children of Grade I who delivered welcome speeches with great flourish and finesse. Melodious welcome song by grade I and grade II accompanied with colorful dance touched everyone’s heart. Following the trend setting convention of Ryan Group of Institutions, the distinguished guests were welcomed with potted plants.

The touch of internationalism and the grip of globalization were felt as the small children mesmerized the audience with dances from around the world. Equally enthralling was the musical skit ‘Bee Musical’ with its profound message of hard work like the bumblebees.

The spectacular cultural programme was interspersed with the coveted moment of the day- the graduation ceremony. Senior KG students donning convocation gowns and caps received the scrolls of merit from the esteemed guests Dr Vijayan Karippal, principal of Expert College and Roy Castellino. Parents beamed with pride and joy welcomed the children on stage with applause and captured the memorable moment in their cameras.

The children who graduated to primary thanked Almighty God, chairman Dr A F Pinto and managing director Grace Pinto, parents and teachers for their abundant love and care. The parents were overwhelmed when their little ones thanked them on stage and assured them that they would do well in life.

On this occasion outstanding achievers of the school in academics, science, sports, music, dance, creativity and oration were awarded certificates of merit by the distinguished guests Sushil Chandra, GM of MRPL and Rafeeq, circle inspector of Surathkal. The crowning of Ryan Prince and Princess was received with the loudest
cheers.

Parents and guests were in praise of the management and teachers for presenting every child on a grand stage at such a young age with meticulousness and offering ample opportunities to every child to grow in their talents and skills.
