Bengaluru: JD(S) legislators return to resort after swearing in

Bengaluru, May 24: The JD(S) legislators, who had participated in the swearing-in ceremony of chief minister, H D Kumaraswamy, have returned to the resort as the party has decided to keep them there for the time being.

It is learnt that the legislators will continue to stay in the resort till Kumaraswamy proves his majority in the floor of the assembly on Friday.

After the swearing-in ceremony held in front of Vidhana Soudha, JD(S) MLAs directly went to the resort near Devanahalli by bus. Kumaraswamy went to the resort at night and held discussions with the legislators.

Congress MLAs, who have been kept in a hotel here, returned to the hotel after the said ceremony.
