Bantwal: Today Foundation holds mass blood donation camp

Bantwal, Aug 20: Today Foundation Farangipete, as part of second anniversary celebrations of Blood Helpline Karnataka held a mass blood donation camp at Bantwal. The camp was held at government high school, Pudu, Bantwal on Sunday, August 19 with the cooperation of Tejaswini Hospital, Mangaluru.

Dars student Mashad recited holy Quran and set the programme in motion. Today Foundation president Janab Umar Farook chaired the programme. Bantwal rural police station sub inspector Prasanna Kumar inaugurated the programme.

Ramalan Maripalla, Lidia Pinto, Ashraf Arabi Kalladka, Nasir Bantwal, Tejaswini hospital blood bank officer Shilpa, Asif Iqbal, G M Bashir, Hussain, Ashik Perimar, Ijaz Bajal, Imtiyaz Mudipu, Nasir B C Road and other elite persons were present. Government high school teacher B Mohammed Tumbe welcomed and compered the camp.

Eighty people donated blood in the camp. Blood bank official's team of Tejaswini Hospital Mangaluru and staff cooperated. The organizers of the camp have thanked those who worked during day and night for the success of the camp.
