Fr Frejidian Shenoy SJ (83), passed away on August 11, 2012 at St Philomenas Hospital after a brief illness. His mortal remains will be laid to rest at 10:00 am on Monday 13th August at Mount St Joseph’s, Bangalore.
He is the son of the late Raymond Aranha & the late Assumption Aranha of Mulki. Brother of the late Chev Martin Aranha, Alice D’Sa, Anthony Aranha, Thomas Aranha, Ladislaus Aranha, Josphine Rego & Clifford Aranha.
He is survived by his brother Alphonsus Aranha , sister Clementine Saldanha, sisters-in-law Amie Aranha , Wilma Aranha, nieces, nephews & grand /great grand nephews / nieces.
His relatives have a very fond memory of him as he shared a strong bond of affection.
He has served his initial days as professor at St Joseph’s Seminary Mangalore, Director of Fatima Retreat House, Principal of St Joseph’s Boy’s (European) High School, Bangalore, over 20 years of social service at Imphal / Manipur. His last couple of years were spent at Mount St Joseph’s, Bangalore, mainly due to his failing health. There he was well looked after by all the fellow priests & the provincial Fr Francis Serrao SJ.
Many of his students are distinguished citizens all over the world including priests & Bishops.
He was well respected by all & every student has had fond memories of his goodness.
