Sr Agnes Mary OCD (69), daughter of the late A R D’Souza, sister of the late Sr Rosemary OCD, the late William D’Souza, the late Gretta Alavares, the late Sr Margaret Mary OCD, Fr Claud D’Souza SJ, the late Richard D’Souza & the late Blasius D’Souza, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013.

Funeral on Wednesday, January 9 in Cloistered Carmel, Pune at 4.30 pm.

"The LORD giveth and HE taketh,may His holy name be praised". Sr.Agnes OCD ( Merlyn D'Souza) is some one that my whole family admired and held up as a model for dedication and commitment. Sad to know of her demise in Pune yesterday.May those who cared and loved her be consoled.She was one who would be in that paradise so longed for! May her soul rest in eternal peace of her Divine Lord.

I had the opportunity to enquire on her health when me & my wife visited Cloistered Carmel, Pune on 19th December 2012. My Sr. Doris D' Souza happened to take us there. I thank God for same & pray that her soul may rest in peace.Amen.
