Dear Students, Hear the Truth

Dear Students, Hear the Truth
No one wins every game,
No one grabs all the names of fame,
Nobody gets a medal all the time,
No one owns all the pricey prizes.

No one can steal your endeavor,
Nobody can shatter your inborn title, “A Winner”,
Some things bring us to the peak, others show us setbacks and struggles,
Winners fail multiple attempts prior to creating successful rhymes.

On this journey of learning, stay with your wills,
Refine your skills,
En route be sure to enjoy the thrills,
Passing through the valley is must prior to reaching the hills.

On the field of examination game,
There isn’t a need for anyone to feel shame,
Whether you score full, half or nil,
Your worth as an individual remains the same.
In a world of illusions gains and losses make living interesting,
A balance of both creates meaning,
From a standard of comparison, all become losers,
Look with a grateful mind to find things that bring you your unique pride.

Winning is a story, losing is also a story,
Hence, for a tiny setback do not feel sorry,
With each fall, we progress towards the way of glory,
In a life of multiple possibilities, there isn’t a need to feel scary.

The stories of Tom, Dick, and Harry come to surprise or inspire,
They may not be your realities,
In a rat race of tests and marks,
Never forget your own gifted sparks.

Who says you shouldn’t focus on the grades?
But make sure in the name of the exam, no smile fades,
Exams of life come without papers and necessitate hard work,
Your breath of contentment is the proof of ultimate success.

Humans are not robots of perfection, but are born for performance,
Billions of moments, thousands of days bring multiple opportunities to shine,
Under the velocity of scholastic anxiety, don’t get swept away from the shore,
Remember, there is more to life than mere academic score.

Hard work is a must,
If that doesn’t work, then staying hopeful is next,
What always works best is a resilient mindset,
Self-labeling as a failure is unquestionably a myth.
