What nonsense is this. Public need sand for construction of homes & it is duty of govt to make same available. Govt terming sand mining by locals in boats has installed dredging machines in rivers all along coast to extract sand that create craters in river beds & kill all forms of fishes. When it comes to supplying high quality sand of sea beds to Gujju bhaiyyas asias largest glass factory at Mangalore everything will become legal. Stop rhis nonsense & provide sand in quantity & quality to people for construction activities

There is a big mafia behind this activity with the help of politicians. This is just the tip of the iceberg. This action is just an eyewash to fool the common man. It can be rectified only if the responsibility to the security forces without intervention from politicians.
