Sharjah, May 24: Karnataka Sangha Sharjah hosted a lunch to mark the successful concluding of their 9th anniversary Celebration recently. 

The lunch was arranged at Fortune Plaza Hotel, Ghusais and all the Committee Members alongwith their family members including well wishers who worked for the success of the programme were invited.

Cine Star Pooja Gandhi gave a special appearance along with Praveen Shetty, MD of Fortune Group of Hotels. Patron Mark Denis & President Mohammed Shahada Noor of Karnataka Sangha Sharjah welcomed them with flower bouquet.

Pooja being a non-Kannadiga by birth gave a brief speech in Kannada which was another surprise to the invitees. She also revealed that her future movies in Kannada will see her dub in own voice.  She also sang a Kannada song of her own first Kannada Film 'Mungaru Male'.

 Another surprise was the birthday celebration of one of the founder member of KSS, Satish Poojary.  KSS presented a cake to cut in the presence of Pooja.

Cultural Co-ordinator Vishwanath Shetty, thanked each and every one who have put all their efforts in presenting KSS 9th annual celebration which turned out into a great event. He also thanked all the media representatives for the wide coverage through their web sites.  General Secretary Sugand Raj Bekal and Treasurer Anand Bailoor thanked everybody for their support.

While the buffet lunch was served to the backdrop of karaoke singing. In the concluding note all the Committee Members of KSS and Media representatives including Mayura Award winner expressed their feelings about the programme and thanked Karnataka Sangha Sharjah for giving them an opportunity to be part of their programme.
