Bantwal: Stranger meets with accident – Police appeal to trace identity

Bantwal, Feb 20: A stranger, who was seriously injured as a vehicle hit him at Ponnodi near B C Road on February 12, is under medical care at Wenlock hospital of Mangaluru.

Bantwal traffic police have requested the public to contact them, if anyone knows the relatives of the person.

The man is around 34 years old. He was hit by a vehicle while crossing the road at Ponnodi. No details of the person are available so far.

If anyone knows the person he or she is requested to contact Dakshina Kannada district police control room on 0824-2220508 or PSI of Bantwal traffic police station on 8762490119.

    Beest publish in dailya.One or the other may recognise him.Is he unconscious?Atleast take a DNA test from his blood and put in data bank ,in case someone comes to recognise or file missing complain.

    It's so important for everyone to carry your ID or some contact numbers, when you travel to a new area! Or else by chance you die by accident or heart attack, municipality will burry you in a week time without your relatives & friends!!! RIP Stranger..
