Udupi, Apr 25: The mortal remains of fourth person, who drowned, along with three other friends of his during picking of cockles at Kiniyarakudru of Harady village of Brahmavar taluk, were found on Monday April 24.
The mortal remains of Mohammed Sufan (20), Mohammed Faizan (18) and Mohammed Ibad (25) were found on Sunday night, while the body of Mohammed Farhan (16) was found on Monday.
All the four were relatives and had gone to boat riding to Kukkude Kudru from Hoode along with Sahil Khader of Theerthahalli, Mahim of Koppa and Shahil of Addagadde. Later, they went to Kiniyarakudru to pick cockles from the rivulet, anchored the boat at one place and went to deep area of the rivulet.
When the one among the four youths was drowning, the others tried to rescue them but n vain. When the locals search for the bodies, three were found on Sunday night. The mortal remains of Farhan was searched by diving expert Eshwar Malpe and team on Monday.
All the youths had come to their relative’s house on account of Ramzan festival. Faizan was studying in second PU at Kallianpur Milagres College, Sufan was second degree student at Shringeri, while Farhan was student of SSLC. Ibad was working as salesman.
The burial of all four was held at Khadeem mosque of Hoode.
