Udupi, Jul 28: Three students on whom the FIR is filed over the college washroom video case were granted bail by the first additional civil and JMFC court on Friday July 28.
The three students appeared in front of the judge and surrendered themselves and sought bail. Judge Shyam Prakash heard the plea of the trio and granted them conditional bail.
The three were granted bail with Rs 20,000 each bond and one surety each. They are instructed to cooperate with the investigative agencies and also asked to attend the court on the dates of hearing without fail.
It is leant that the students informed the judge that as students, the case would harm their education.
On behalf of the three students, advocate Asadulla Katpadi requested the honourable court for the bail.
