Union Min Pralhad Joshi slams Siddaramaiah, Cong for trying to call PM Modi 'neech'

Hubballi, Sep 7 (IANS): Union minister Pralhad Joshi slammed Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Congress party for trying to call Prime Minister Narendra Modi 'neech' (lowly).

Speaking to media in Hubballi, Union Minister Joshi stated, “Siddaramaiah and Congress party have always attempted to call PM Modi as 'neech'. Before this, former Union minister Manishankar Iyer had also addressed PM Modi in similar fashion.”

This is because PM Modi Ji hails from a poor family. The heartburn for the Congress party specially Gandhi family and stooges think that the seat on which PM Modi is sitting belongs to Gandhi family, he stated.

He further stated that, when it belongs to Gandhi family, how can a poor man sit on it? This is the reason they make these comments. The people have been giving answers to this.

“In connection with the row over supplying rice for Anna Bhagya scheme, we have been told that due to the drought situation in the country, rice is not available with us. That is why exports are banned and prices are increasing. The BJP-ruled states are also asking for more than five kilograms which is not provided to them. We are not able to give them extra rice and this is applicable to all states,” Union minister Joshi explained.

“I want to tell Siddaramaiah, when you announced the guarantee scheme and gave cards, did he tell people that free 10 kilograms of rice would be provided only if the central government gives it? Did you say this? Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh governments are demanding for rice. We are not able to provide extra rice apart from five kilograms to any states,” he said.

The Union minister maintained, the use of the word 'neech' is an example of 'ghamand' (arrogance) of the Congress party.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had dubbed the BJP central government as 'neech' for refusing to provide rice for free rice scheme. “Do not cast your votes to 'neech' BJP government. When I was the CM previously, 7 kilograms of free rice was given. The BJP government had reduced it to 4 kilograms,” he stated.

Now the Congress government is ready to pay money for rice, but it's not given after the promise was made. “We have to decide how 'neech' they are. They don’t have humanity. No votes should be cast to them in parliamentary elections,” Siddaramaiah had urged.

Deliberately Mr Prahalad Joshi is misleading the people. What Mr Siddaramaiah said was "Neech BJP Government" as reported in this news item. He has not addressed the PM as alleged by Mr Joshi. From the statements of Mr Joshi it appears the Central Minister is directly attributing the word "Neech" as a prefix to the PM. All the best. People can see through this game as 2024 is approaching.

The congress party had promptly taken action against Mr. Mani Shankar Aiyar and ousted him from the Party when he had used such a word. No one is used to such name calling in any other party but BJP. No one has seen anyone calling such names and congress party has rightly come of age and is rebuilding on peoples and real issues connecting Bharat south to North and soon West to East. See now, own party people have started calling names to gain sympathy. Playing victim card before elections? People are quite vigilant and observe everything and want to see who is really helping their children in education, who is giving employment, who is helping the farmers, who is able to maintain peace and harmony in the society, who is walking the talk. The days when politicians gave long lectures and fooled people have gone. This will be for some other time. Now people are more worried about JOBS, HEALTH CARE, FARMER ISSUES, TRANSPORT, CHINA ENCROACHING ON INDIAN LAND, BUSINESSMEN LOOTING THE BANKS and POOR PEOPLE BEING HARASSED BY BANKS on inability to pay less than Rs.1,000. Indians are aware of ADANI SHARE MANIPULATION AND DEFRAUDING POOR INDIAN INVESTORS and various real issues that affect daily life of lower and middle income families. Winds of change in BJP ? Why own people start calling names now ? What is in a name? Did they gain anything by calling DIDEEE, or 50 crore girl friend or Jersey Cow or many such low life name calling ? All the states they called names and pit people against people did not do any good and lost all the seats they held previously let alone winning new. What was built over 65 years has been sold in 10 years. There is no new crop, every old tree has been cut down. This state has realized the folly of blindly following fanatics who do not value any religion or culture or values but do mere lip service. People in Karnataka have chosen peace, progress and inclusive peaceful co-existence. The trend is JUDEGA BHARAT, JEETEGA INDIA

C'mon Joshiji, this much you can expect from Varuna constituency. They know Hindi and in Kannada also there is a word Neecha. Siddu has to prove that he is better than DKShi....please do not get surprised if Siddu starts making speeches in Hindi. There is a national leader rising to the occasion in aid of a secular party called Congress. And once that succeeds, Rahul Gandhi will take reigns of Delhi Sultanate.
