Mangaluru/Udupi: Coastal districts receive moderate rainfall

Mangaluru/Udupi, Sep 10: Most parts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts received moderate rainfall on Saturday, September 9.

Mangaluru city experienced light showers in the morning and evening. During the rest of the time, the weather alternated between cloudy and sunshine.

In Udupi city area, Kaup, Brahmavar, Hebri, Karkala, Byndoor and surrounding areas received intermittent rains. Light drizzle was seen at Parkala, Malpe and Manipal areas.

 

In the evening many areas of the district received heavy rains but for a short while.

Mangaluru recorded a maximum temperature of 28 degree celsius and a minimum temperatur of 22.4 degrees celsius.

According to the Indian metereological department there is a possibility of the twin districts receiving moderate rainfall in the next two days.
