Customs sleuths seize gold powder worth Rs 14.5 lac at Mangaluru International Airport

Mangaluru, Sep 13: Smuggled gold was seized by customs department officials at Mangaluru International Airport from a passenger on Tuesday September 12.

The passenger had arrived from Dubai.

The sleuths of the customs department seized 242 grams of gold powder valued at Rs 14.50 lac.

Customs officials said an Air India passenger travelling from Dubai had smuggled gold powder by placing them in a cardboard box and wrapped them in four carbon papers.

    Disgusting though, but cannot agree more. Looking at the smuggling history in Mangalore airport. Its apparent that both boy and girl pledge their privates at birth ,for Gold smuggling purposes.
