Mouni Roy is missing her husband on Dussehra, drops candid photos


Mumbai, Oct 24 (IANS): Actress Mouni Roy, who is an ardent social media user, on Tuesday shared candid pictures with her husband Suraj Nambiar, expressing her love for him, and also extended wishes for Dussehra.

The ‘Brahmastra’ fame actress has a fan following of 28 million subscribers on Instagram.

Taking to the photo sharing application, Mouni dropped unseen candid pictures with Suraj.

In the series of photos, we can see Mouni cutely hugging Suraj while he smiles. Mouni is wearing a red traditional suit and Suraj is donning a white kurta pyjama in a picture.

The next photo shows them sitting on a couch and posing for the lens. Mouni is wearing a traditional Bengali saree, while Suraj is in red kurta and yellow dhoti.

She captioned the post as: “Shubho bijoyaar Priti o Shubhechcha.. Missing you sooooo much today @nambiar13 come back jaldi,” followed by flower and sad face emoji.

She gave the tune of Pujor Dhaak Theme to the post. Her husband commented on the post and wrote: “SBPoS and miss you too.”

Fans showered love on the post and wrote: “beautiful couple.”

Another wrote: “God bless you both.”

Mouni had made her acting debut in 2006, with the TV show ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. In 2018, she made her Hindi film debut with the period sport film ‘Gold’ alongside Akshay Kumar.

She played the character of Junoon in the fantasy action-adventure ‘Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva’, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead.

On the work front, Mouni was recently seen in ‘Sultan of Delhi’. She next has ‘The Virgin Tree’ in the pipeline.
